To make it easier to understand, here are some benefits of using vehicle wraps and why they are a memorable way of spreading the word about your business.
- Grabs Attention: with its visual appeal including bright colors and design, company vehicles are prominent on the road in the midst of traffic. A plain white van, for instance, wouldn’t be able to come to anyone’s attention but a well-designed vehicle wrap is almost instantly noticed.
- Wider Audiences: if the fleet is large enough and if company vehicles travel far and often, a business is able to reach tens of thousands per month. With this form of advertising, a much larger audience is reached out to.
- Friendly Advertising: print ads and other mediums can interrupt a person, for example, while reading, but vehicle wraps attract the attention without being a nuisance. The message is given off in such
Get the people’s attention
The main reason you are designing the signboard is because you want to pass a message and there is no way that you will pass the message if you don’t get the attention of the people that you are targeting. You should avoid using a regular design that nobody will remember. You should consider the size of sign board and its location. As rule of thumb, the board should be of the right size for everyone to remember it. It also should be strategically located to get the people’s attention.
Pay attention to the lifetime of the board
Different boards are used for a given time. The duration should inform you on the right material that you should use in designing it. If you are going to use it for only a short period of time you should use aluminum or any other material that has …
Small business advertising that doesn’t fit these criteria is mostly like throwing money down a hole. (Like I said, there are exceptions. But if you try to promote your business using public relations you’d better have a business that can benefit from that …plus get the help of a professional who specializes in it.)
Institutional … Madison Avenue type stuff … doesn’t work in small business advertising any more than it effectively works for big companies using it. It’s just that big companies typically have big budgets they can spend on bad advertising without going under financially.
That’s a luxury most of us don’t have.
Direct marketing is different. You can control its costs. Taylor it to your ad budget. And measure its effectiveness based on response to the offer in the ad or sales letter.
Examples of response triggers used in effective small business advertising include:
In some buildings, elevator ads created with a great visual appeal and creativeness in mind have become the most attention grabbing advertisement channels ever. From fully wrapping the elevators to the digital elevator display screens, all these mediums have become very famous among the small businesses and the residents likewise.
Advertising campaigns don’t always give you the benefit to control your audience, but this isn’t the case with elevator advertising. Using this channel you can choose the audience of your choice by selecting the regions, neighborhood and even the types of building like commercial or residential, all by yourself. This factor of having the option to choose your own audience with your advertising budget is only available to you in this medium of advertising.
The afford-ability of elevator ads is perhaps the most attracting feature for small companies with smaller advertising budgets. You can surely spend hundreds …

First You Need To Create A Vision
The first step in creating a success poster is to sit down, close your eyes and envision the success you want to create with your business.
Ask yourself what you want your business to look like one year from today.
Think in terms of your ideal success. Dream big. Think of all the little things you would love to have happen in your business and in your life.
Think about how many clients you’ll be helping and the material results of your success.
Consider what other results you’d love to have … coverage of your business in the news media perhaps?
Picture yourself delivering your products or services … what does that look like in your ideal world?
The Second Step is to Create Your Poster
Get a piece of paper or cardstock and some colored markers or crayons.

Look around you. You can probably count on two hands the number of items in your office or home that are etched, engraved or printed with someone’s name- magnets, key chains, coffee mugs, calendars, rulers and note cubes. Oh, and how could we forget the pen or stress ball? These items were most likely given to you at no cost at a business you frequent, or perhaps were even sent to you. These are often given out at trade shows, seminars and other events open to the public. Even the businesses that have booths at the county fair have these types of giveaways. And, some businesses just have them out in their reception area. Others, like schools, may hand out pens, folders and lanyards at orientations and open houses. This marketing tool not only builds recognition but also is a way to gain your repeat business.
Over time, this particular client has shifted more and more of his advertising towards his website. He used to put coupons in the phone book ad, and it definitely cost him. Now, for a fraction of the price, he puts his coupons online. And the great part is, he can change them at any time.
As I understand it, at least one of the phone books he advertises in charges extra for letting him put the website’s address in. Still, it saves him money because he doesn’t include the coupons anymore.
Not only that, but the website is, of course, much more flexible. Any ad you place is then out there forever. I would encourage you not to use specific prices in your advertising. Instead, direct potential customers to your website, where they can get up-to-date pricing information.
Of course, you can fit much more information on your website than …
Chances are if you live in a big city or area which has public transportation, you’ve probably seen buses driving down the street completely covered in large graphics advertising some chain restaurant or other company. I’ll be honest, when I first saw one of these buses driving through my college campus I was a bit concerned about the safety of it and wondered how in the world they could see through all that plastic! Upon further examination I realized that the material was FULL of tiny little holes that let light shine through. Now as someone who would shortly be entering the design and advertising field, I thought this was pretty genius.
Pre-tiny hole graphics, most bus advertising was done using printed signs that were slid into some metal railings and took up a 2 x 5 foot space. While at the time this was a great method, the chances …
